About
I enjoy building backend systems that are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain.
Over the past several years I've explored everything from competitive programming and backend engineering to cloud deployment and AI-powered applications. My focus is building software that solves practical problems rather than simply demonstrating technology.

My interest in software engineering started with curiosity about how systems work beneath the interface.
Rather than focusing only on frameworks, I invested time understanding algorithms, backend architecture, databases, networking, deployment, and software engineering principles. As a trainee in the competitive Africa to Silicon Valley (A2SV) G6 Cohort, I strengthened my problem-solving abilities, solving 500+ complex algorithmic challenges across LeetCode and Codeforces and ranking Top 19 nationally in ECPC 2025.
Throughout my B.Sc. studies at ASTU (graduating with a 3.78 CGPA Great Distinction), I explored multiple production technologies including Go, Python, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Django, NestJS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, and Cloud infrastructure. This allowed me to understand not only how applications are built, but how they are deployed, secured, monitored, and maintained.
Today my primary interest lies in backend engineering, cloud-native systems, and AI applications that solve real-world problems.
- Build for maintainability before complexity.
- Write software that other developers can understand.
- Measure before optimizing.
- Documentation is part of the product.
- Simplicity scales better than cleverness.
